On March 9th, 2024, LittleSteminists will be presenting its first Meet a Steminist program at the Parsippany Main Library at 2:00 PM featuring guest speaker Mrs. Lora Santucci, a Math and Computer Science Teacher at Morris Hills High School (scroll to learn more). Mrs. Lora Santucci teaches at Morris Hills HS in Rockaway, where she resides with her husband and three children. She studied mathematics, computer science, and music at Rutgers University and began teaching in 1998. She is a member of many professional organizations where she's presented workshops and spoken at conferences. She is a Consultant for the College Board, has been an AP Reader since 2017, and was a content developer for CSAwesome. Lora authored "Archimedes Revenge" (2010), published in NCTM's The Mathematics Teacher, which detailed the use of technology in mathematics education. She believes that strong computational thinking and thoughtful use of technology must be carefully developed in all students, now more than ever. Before teaching, Lora was an instructor at Johns Hopkins CAA, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, and attended graduate school. She enjoys music and the outdoors.
